About
Tepper School of Business has a long history of ethics education. The Graduate School of Industrial Administration (GSIA, the former name of the Tepper School) was one of the frontier business schools that incorporated ethics into its curriculum, starting in the 1960s with Professor Thomas M. Kerr. This legacy was strengthened under the leadership of Dr. John Hooker, University Professor; T. Jerome Holleran Professor of Business Ethics and Social Responsibility; Professor of Operations Research. Under Professor Hooker’s editorship, Tepper hosted the Journal of Business Ethics Education since 2004. Associate Professor of Business Ethics, Dr. Tae Wan Kim joined the Ethics Group in 2012, and was elected to serve on the Board of the Society for Business Ethics in 2021. In 2022, Dr. Derek Leben joined the Ethics Group as Associate Teaching Professor of Business Ethics. Dr. Taya Cohen , Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Business Ethics joined the Tepper School in 2010, connecting the Ethics Group with the Organizational Behavior area.
